For today's #30DaysofBiking, I visited the wetland areas in the State Park at the south end of Lake Sammamish. This is lovely bit of damp green land is home to a wide range of creatures and while I saw a bald eagle, the geese and the ducks were the creatures who stayed still long enough to put up with my attempts at photography.

On Earth Day, I decided it was a beautiful day to go out for a ride and take some pictures. So what I did, is I strapped on my GoPro camera and took pictures of my whole bike ride from Log Boom Park in Kenmore, through Seattle, and ending in Ballard, and work my way back.
The trip was enjoyable and the people were friendly. I got a quite a bit of waves and hellos from fellow cyclists, and pedestrians. I just biked along the Burke-Gilman trail and wanted to share my ride with others to hopefully encourage others to bike and explore their city.

Hey Kent, that map is nifty! When I lived in the midwest, the wind always blew from west to east. But apparently not today. Thanks!
Photos of mother nature are always nice, but o so beautiful when there's a bike thrown into the mix!
Have you seen any goslings yet? Two clutches have hatched in South Lake Union Park.
