Kent is getting lots of love on the forums over at bikepacking.net, for his attitude and his enjoyment of the race. Lots of people love his call-ins.
I'm really enjoying his updates and i'm feeling some of the fun he is having.

It's all in the attitude. Doesn't seem as if Kent is too concerned with his finishing time as much as the journey.
All the same, he's crushing it in my opinion.
In a year with lots of snow and mud and - so far - 15 riders dropping out before making it through Montana Kent's happy calls demonstrate his advice about successful endurance riding:
"ponder with pessimism and execute with enthusiasm."
He's the far and away leader in joy per mile.
