Last November Christine and I adopted a black kitten we named Inkling. Inkling is a very mellow, friendly little guy and he's made himself right at home with us. When Christine's bike is parked, Inkling figures the basket is a good place to settle in for a rest.

Did you know that CS Lewis was part of a pub-based 'discussion group' called 'the Inklings'? Small factoid that I thought you might find interesting.
Yep, Christine is quite a C.S.Lewis fan and that was one of the factors that lead to Inkling's name.

That is absolutely adorable, I love your cat curled up in the bike basket. And...the name Inkling is too perfect for a black cat.
