A few years ago (OK, maybe more than a few!) I put together a list of 50 good bike books and then a week later I published a list of 50 more good bike books. For convenience, here are links to both of those lists:

I stand by the contents of those lists, but I'm sure there many other fine bike books I'm missing. So if there is a favorite of yours that you think should be on the next iteration of the list, make a note in the comments or send me an email.
Keep 'em rolling,
Kent

Hi Kent. Good to see you blogging again. I was going to comment on this post but when I looked through the comments on your original 2011 post I saw that I had already commented
then. Eight years ago! Time flies, don't it. Maybe something about the difference in bike scenes in Eugene vs. Issaqua/Seattle would be worth a few paras. I used to bike around Eugene many years ago (like in the 1970s) when it was just a quiet, lefty college town with bike infrastructure way before Seattle and Portland started working on theirs. And have been there quite a few times since.

Over the years read a lot of books on your list
But these 3
Off the Map: Bicycling Across Siberia: Mark Jenkins -- old book
Just Ride by Grant Petersen - middle aged book
Lands of Lost Borders: A Journey on the Silk Road
Book by Kate Harris -- new book are great books in their own right.
Glad your blogging on this site again.
