Yesterday while riding home from the Seattle Bike Expo, I stopped to watch a bit of bike polo at Judkins Park. The women and men playing have really good bike handling skills and it looked like they were having a lot of fun. According to a sign at the park, hard court bike polo was invented in Seattle.

ReplyDeleteMaybe hardcourt, but bicycle polo in general has been around a long time. Here's a link to photos of bike polo in Los Angeles, in 1930, and I think I've heard it goes back farther than that in France.
