The format of an Ignite presentation is short and simple. Participants are given five minutes to speak on a subject accompanied by 20 slides. Each slide is displayed for 15 seconds, and slides are automatically advanced. In the presentation above, Spokane's Barb Chamberlain fills her five minutes with humor and positive energy to show why she knows that bikes can save the world (or at least make it a better place).

What an honor! Thanks for linking the video. I'm working on a transcript I'll be posting on my blog this coming week.
@BarbChamberlain
Thanks for the informative post and for actually replying to your readers’ comments. That’s something I don’t see very many blog owners doing and that makes me frustrated. Keep up the good work and I’ll continue coming back here to learn more....
Great video! Deep down we all love to ride and be outdoors, but many of us just need a little reminder. :-)
thanks!
Hooray, bicycles! I liked Barb's points because they (mostly) weren't what I was expecting... which was the same points I wrote in a post that would definitely have the alternative title "how bicycles can save the world," if it had an alternative title that is. I've only read a few of your posts so far, and enjoyed them all; learned about rim blowouts without having to suffer one. Thanks for sharing!
