David Shapiro is a philosophy professor who lives and bicycles in the Seattle area. He also writes and posts a 327 word essay each day. Every day he steps up to the plate and sometimes (like today) he belts one out of the park.

For those of you who want to make sure I really stick to my intention to keep this blog bike-related, I'll point out that David has the best bike helmet cover ever. It's a custom wool cover made by Shaun Deller of Portland OR.
Dude!! That guy was MY philosophy professor! I won the class "think off" on the meaning of life! I haven't written anything noteworthy since. ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely bicycle-related. Thank you for sharing.

Hmmm... when I was in the NAVY, oh about 20 some years ago, it's either "SAT" or, "UNSAT". Just satisfactory or, unsatisfactory. That's the way it was in school. Different time, I know. A different world back then.
ReplyDeleteA definite must read, most of the time.
ReplyDeleteI recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
